Protests demanding the resignations of Bulgaria's government and prosecutor general continue in Sofia for 8th day in a row under the slogan "Let's Defend Democracy - Day 8". Posts in social networks called for turning today's protest into the largest until now.
A protest is also taking place in front of the Bulgarian National Television building in central Sofia, demanding the resignation of the TV's director general Emil Koshlukov.
Anti-government protests are held also in other cities of the country. Protests have also been announced among Bulgarian communities abroad.
The protests have been joined also by BOEC association, which calls for a law on lustration, a new electoral code, an electronic majority vote with civil control, and the transfer of the state governance into the hands of a civil caretaker cabinet.
