Bulgarian diplomatic service marks 141 years since its establishment

On the occasion of the day of the Bulgarian diplomatic service, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ekaterina Zaharieva congratulated Bulgarian diplomats:

“Ever since it was established 141 years ago, the Bulgarian diplomatic service has been guided by the idea of protecting the interests of the Bulgarian citizens and the common good of Bulgaria,” Ekaterina Zaharieva states in her address. “With its high degree of professionalism and commitment Bulgarian diplomacy has been able to be the voice of Bulgarians around the world.”

Minister Zaharieva expressed her admiration of the enormous efforts the Bulgarian diplomats have been making in this unprecedented Covid-19 situation.
