For the 15th day running protesters are gathering in the centre of Sofia next to the buildings of the Presidency and the Council of Ministers.
Talking to the BNR they stated their disappointment that their demonstrations have only led to a cabinet reshuffle. The main objective of the protest has not been accomplished, they say – resignation of the entire government, including Prime Minister Boyko Borissov, and of Prosecutor General Ivan Geshev. The protesters are categorical that they will not stop their protest against the government and the prosecutor general until there are real changes in the country. Yesterday, the protests blocked seven key intersections in Sofia, but there was no escalation of tensions.
Protests are planned in many towns across the country as well.
