Protesters do not approve Premier Borissov’s proposals

The amendments to the Constitution proposed by Premier Borissov triggered a wave of reactions of people who are dissatisfied with his government. The “Toxic Trio” and this country’s former Ombudsman Maya Manolova reacted sharply in the social networks to Borissov’s bid to change the Constitution and commented that this would allow the mafia to create its own basic law. In Hristo Ivanov’s view, none of the amendments proposed by Premier Boyko Borissov requires convening of Grand National Assembly. “This is not a way to restart democracy”, the leader of "Yes, Bulgaria" contends.
