St. Anastasia Island welcomes its guests with herbal beer on its holiday

Bulgaria’s St. Anastasia Island celebrates its holiday on August 15- Dormition of the Blessed Virgin Mary. The tourist complex is to welcome 400 tourists with a rich festive programme, manager Pavlin Dimitrov says. Guests will be welcomed at the peer with drum and bagpipe, traditional mussels dish and herbal beer. Later, they will have the opportunity to see the art bazaar and join the traditional horo chain dance performed by dancers from Ztrandzha Ensemble. The holiday will culminate with the concert of Stefan Valdobrev and the "Usual Suspects". In Pavlin Dimitrov’s view, St. Anastasia Island has been enjoying a strong summer tourist season. More than 20,000 tourists have visited the island until now.
