33-year-old cardiologist becomes ninth victim of Covid-19 among Bulgarian medics

33-year-old cardiologist from the town of Blagoevgrad, Dr. Emil Vaklyov, who was infected with coronavirus, passed away this morning in Pirogov Hospital in Sofia. He is  the ninth medic in Bulgaria who became victim of the novel coronavirus infection since the beginning of the epidemic. 

Dr. Emil Vaklyov's father, general practitioner Musa Vaklyov, also died of Covid-19 two days ago. Emil Vaklyov's mother, who is a nurse, is currently in Pirogov's intensive care ward.
