PM Boyko Borissov: Consolidated nations will be the first to deal with Covid-19

Consolidated nations will be the first to emerge from the Covid-19 crisis. Others will fall into severe political crises and it will not be possible to take quick and adequate measures. This was what Prime Minister Boyko Borissov said during his participation in the traditional conference, which brought together 71 Bulgarian ambassadors around the world.

"Within 2-3 weeks we managed to protect the people on the front line in the fight against Covid-19. In Bulgaria we were the first to tighten up and the first to loosen the measures. So far this is paying off relatively well," PM Borissov added.

The Prime Minister has pointed the serious decline in the Gross Domestic Product worldwide and that the situation is expected to be complicated in the winter months, BNR reporter Marta Mladenova informed.
