IMRO to support new Constitution if it included demands of nationalists

Nationalist party IMRO will not sign the draft new Constitution proposed by GERB if it did not comply with its demands. This was announced by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense Krassimir Karakachanov at the opening ceremony of the academic year at the Military Academy "G. S. Rakovski ”, quoted on the party's website.

IMRO calls for an educational qualification for voting, compulsory voting, guaranteed rights and citizenship to every ethnic Bulgarian, reintroduction of conscription, guaranteeing the family as a union only between a man and a woman, the president having the right of legislative initiative.
