People are gathering downtown Sofia for the 58th consecutive evening to demand the resignation of Bulgaria’s cabinet and this country’s Prosecutor General. The protest is held under the motto “We are not afraid”. The Toxic Trio who are among the organizers of the protests called on the opposition parties to leave the National Assembly and dissociate themselves from “the autocratic government”.
The President of the Party of European Socialists Sergei Stanishev discussed the situation in Bulgaria with the President of the European Parliament David Sassoli.
