Bulgaria’s National Statistical Institute registered 0% monthly inflation in August. The consumer price index increased by 1.2% as compared to the same month in 2019, BNR reporter Marta Mladenova informs.

Prices of medicines increased slightly as well in August. However, prices of clothing and foods, especially fruits and vegetables fell last month. Inflation between January and August was negative to the tune of -0.5%.
