Sofia to host EU-Western Balkans summit in November

EU and Western Balkan leaders will gather in Sofia on November 10th, North Macedonia's MIA news agency. The forum is part of the Berlin Process chaired by Bulgaria and North Macedonia.

An EU plan to establish a regional economic community in the Western Balkans will be adopted in Sofia. According to the European Commission, the community will bring tangible benefits to companies and citizens. These include reducing cross-border bank charges, removing technical barriers to trade, coordinating investment policies, recognizing professional qualifications across the region and promoting e-commerce, BGNES reports.
