President Rumen Radev declared he would submit his proposals for changes to the constitution after the holding of new parliamentary elections.
In his words there is no reason why he should submit his proposals for constitutional changes with the current parliament.
“I will submit them when the Bulgarian parliament re-gains legitimacy, i.e. after elections,” President Radev said.
Asked whether he was critical of the opposition, President Radev stated that his criticism was targeted at the ruling party which has been governing ineffectively and has been wasting resources, and not in the interest of the nation.
