“We are going to the polls with integrity and responsibility, without promising anything populist,” said Bulgarian Socialist Party (BSP) chair Korneliya Ninova at the first session of the newly elected National Council of the BSP, the party’s press service has announced.

She said further that the BSP must start preparations for formulating a political programme, messages, a platform, as well as for creating the organization for the parliamentary elections with the aim of winning them. On Korneliya Ninova’s proposal, the BSP National Council approved the formation of 17 councils for assisting the party in its work over the coming four years, which will duplicate ministries and will draft alternative policies.
