There is not a single case of coronavirus infection in a Bulgarian hotel, the Bulgarian Association of Hotel Executives has reported.

According to the unified tourist information system, more than 3.8 million tourists spent nights in places for accommodation from January to September 2020, and since June 15 when the ban on organizing events was lifted, members of the association have held a total of over 800 events in hotels.

The association points out that the lack of even a single outbreak of infection in a Bulgarian hotel is indicative of the serious attitude of hoteliers towards the risk and the effective measures they have taken for the safety of their guests, BTA reported.
