Many Bulgarians opted to spend their summer holidays in Bulgaria: Survey

During the past summer season 69.2% of Bulgarians say that Bulgaria was their first choice of summer holiday destination, indicates a survey by Gallup International jointly with the National Board of Tourism.

According to survey data, 26.3% of the respondents say they wanted to go abroad for their holidays but that Covid-19 changed their plans. Respondents who spent their holiday in this country give close to 4 out of 5 marks for all indicators, such as prices, quality and anti-epidemic measures.  

Respondents who spent their holiday abroad give higher marks for prices, beach and beach service quality, anti-epidemic measures.
