Employees to continue working from home after Covid-19 pandemic: survey

One-fourth of the Bulgarian companies have introduced flexible working conditions due to Covid-19 pandemic. Another one-fourth of the companies are ready to make these measures permanent after the crisis. 50% of all employees will continue working from home, a survey of Mercer Bulgaria shows.

63% of the employers approve of home office work. Half of the managers are considering strategies for automating work processes. 28% chose work on the basis of a project principle and part time contracts. 67% of the managers contend that the performance of their staff is better and labor productivity is higher when they work from home. 81% of the companies have suspended the recruitment of new staff and 19% of them have made redundancies, investor.bg informs.
