The government has adopted an action plan in case of Brexit without a deal between London and the EU. It provides for the conclusion of bilateral agreements on air transport, road transport of passengers and goods, exchange of information on VAT and collection of debts. Consultations and information are provided for Bulgarian citizens residing on the island for their rights after the withdrawal of the United Kingdom from the EU.
