There is no shortage of medications used to treat patients with Covid-19, Bulgaria's Minister of Health Kostadin Angelov said at a briefing after a meeting with representatives of the pharmaceutical sector.
"On the territory of Bulgaria we have sufficient quantities of medicines and stockpiling is what currently creates a feeling of shortage of certain medicines in the country. This is the main problem," Angelov said.
He added that patients in need of treatment with antibiotics, heparins and dexamethasone are treated in hospitals, and there is no shortage of medication.
