A European survey on the expectations of Bulgarian companies on key economic indicators in 2021 ranks Bulgaria among the biggest pessimists among 29 countries. Among the main problems, the business sector in Bulgaria points out the debts as a result of the Covid-19 crisis and the interrupted supply chains. 43% of companies expect these challenges to deepen next year.
The pessimism of the Bulgarian business refers mainly to the markets, employment, investments and profits.
The survey covered 765 Bulgarian companies from all industries and regions. It is carried out every year by the Association of European Chambers of Commerce - Eurochambres, together with the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
