Bulgaria reports record high number of Covid-19 deaths and recoveries in past 24 hours

3,146 new cases of Covid-19 have been confirmed in Bulgaria in the past 24 hours out of 7,244 PCR tests performed, data of the Single Information Portal show. 43% of the PCR tests have returned positive. The number of active cases of coronavirus infection reached 83,671. The total number of Covid-19 cases since the beginning of the pandemic rose to 124, 966.

6,270 patients are receiving treatment in hospitals, 399 of whom in intensive care units. A record-high number of recoveries have been registered in the past 24 hours-1,702. The total number of Covid-19 recoveries reached 38,266. A record high number of Covid-19 deaths have been reported since the beginning of the pandemic-189 patients have died in the past 24 hours. The total number of Covid-19 fatalities reached 3,069.
