Our goal is to overcome the coronavirus pandemic as soon as possible, so that next year Bulgaria’s gross domestic product can grow 3.8%-4%. After the crisis, if the European economy starts growing again, and this will happen after the vaccination, Bulgaria will be the first country to emerge from the crisis, Premier Boyko Borissov said during a visit to South Bulgaria which was broadcasted on his Facebook page.

Premier Borissov responded to the criticism of the recently adopted 2021 state budget by quoting the report of Moody’s, as well as the latest data of "Standard & Poor's" international rating agency which confirmed the long term credit rating of Bulgaria in foreign and local currency 'BBB/A-2' with stable outlook.
