Mortality in Bulgaria after the 40th week of 2020 has increased sharply, Magdalena Kostova, Head of the Demographic and Social Statistics Directorate at the National Statistical Institute said for BNR.
In November, the weekly mortality rate reached 3,800 cases, or 30 death cases per 1,000 people- the highest mortality registered in the past 5 years.
