42.2% of 6825 PCR tests return positive results

2814 new cases of coronavirus have been registered in Bulgaria for the past 24 hours after 6825 PCR tests, data by the Single Coronavirus Information Portal show. The number of confirmed cases of Covd-19 since the beginning of the pandemic has reached 145,300 as the active cases are 90,700. A total of 6783 infected people are is hospital. 457 patients are in intensive care wards.

221 people passed away during the past day, which is the highest number since the beginning of the pandemic and the total number of deaths has reached 4035. 1971 people recovered in the past 24 hours and a total of 50 565 have recovered since the beginning of the pandemic.
