Bulgaria reports 3,614 new Covid-19 cases, or almost 38% of PCR tests performed

3,614 is the number of new of coronavirus infection registered in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours, or 37.92% of the  9,530 PCR tests performed.

The highest number of new infections is in Sofia 675, followed by the regions of Plovdiv (380) and Burgas (257), indicate Single Coronavirus Information Portal data.

2,536 is the number of recoveries in the past 24 hours, and 147 have died. 6,744 patients with coronavirus are being treated in hospital, 504 of them are in intensive care. The official number of active cases stands at 94,480. A total of 1,009, 397 PCR tests have been carried out in Bulgaria since the start of the pandemic, of them 15.73 %, or 158,807 have returned positive.
