“The application is like a GPS. It switches on when you come close to the site and tells you all about it,” the author of the idea Svetlozar Zahariev explained for the BNR.
“The application has been developed for virtual tours in four towns of Bulgaria, for now, and is expected to be launched at the beginning of the new year in Varna. The idea is for tourists who have come to the seaside to find out what tourist sites there are in the vicinity. In Varna we have selected 50 sites organized in three itineraries. They include the Marine Garden, the Maritime Museum, the observatory, the Roman baths, the old Turkish baths, the archaeological museum,” Zahariev says.
To begin with, the Bulgaria easy application is to be in Russian, English and Bulgarian and will cover 200 tourist sites.
