VMRO party calls for "credit vacation" for insolvent debtors

The VMRO political party has made demands for reduction or exemption from state and municipal rents of debtors have become insolvent due to the Covid-19 restrictive measures, the party's press office announced.

The proposals were submitted to the National Assembly as amendments to the Law on Measures and Actions during the State of Emergency. The texts stipulate that, from the moment of submitting the application for deferral, no interest may be charged and the contract cannot be terminated due to non-performance.
