“Bulgarian-Swiss cooperation was not simply to give some money for some things that will be implemented and will be over. For us it was mostly about developing capacity. We contributed to some important legislative changes. We organized training,” said, in an interview for the BNR’s Horizont channel, H.E. Muriel Berce Cohen, Ambassador of Switzerland to Bulgaria, commenting on the Bulgarian-Swiss programme, now completed, under which more than 120 initiatives were supported with the sum of 76 million Swiss francs. Ambassador Cohen pointed out that Switzerland is the 11th biggest investor in Bulgaria, and added that there are around 11,000 Bulgarians living and working in Switzerland.
