"Our commitment to the children of Bulgaria can be realized only with the efforts of the whole society," wrote President Rumen Radev on his Facebook profile. The Bulgarian head of state, under whose patronage the Bulgarian Christmas charity initiative is held in support of sick children, also states that every child should receive the best necessary medical treatment, regardless of the capabilities of the country's healthcare system.

Rumen Radev expresses the hope that this year's edition of the Bulgarian Christmas campaign will establish nobility and empathy as one of the brightest virtues of Bulgarians.
