Euronews: In Bulgaria's Bansko tourists have the chance to ski

Photo: BGNES

If at Christmas ski resorts in France  are closed, then in Bulgaria the snow and the skiers meet in the winter resort of Bansko, one of the largest tourist destinations in the country.

This is what Euronews says in its French-language report, quoted by the website bgtourism.bg. It is stated that due to the situation with Covid-19 the regulations in the resort are strict: social distancing, mandatory masks indoors, restaurants serving food only until 10 pm. The ski lifts are disinfected three times a day.

The report also points out that this season Bulgarian tourism relies on domestic tourism and tourism from neighbouring countries to cover its losses as a result of the coronavirus pandemic.
