Kristian Vigenin to head OSCE mission of observers at elections in Kazakhstan

The Vice President of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe – OSCE – Kristian Vigenin is to head the mission of observers at the parliamentary elections in Kazakhstan.

Albania, which is in the chair of the OSCE in 2020, singled out Vigenin for special coordinator of the OSCE for the elections in Kazakhstan scheduled for 10 January, 2021.

Kristian Vigenin who is also Vice-President of the Bulgarian National Assembly is to coordinate the work of the international observers on election day, after which he will present, in the capital city Nur-Sultan, the first evaluation of how democratic the elections have been, BTA reports.
