After January 18, there may be a gradual return of students from 5th to 12th grade to a face-to-face form of education, Education Minister Krassimir Valchev said. "The majority of parents are in favor of their children returning to school, which is normal. The school is the best environment in which children can gain knowledge, skills and education," the minister commented.

The lists for vaccination of teachers will be ready by the end of the week, and the number of applicants has been rising, the minister says. Minister Valchev expects at least 35,000 teachers out of 90,000 working in the education system to be vaccinated, BTA reported.
