20 master craftsmen from the Old Town of Plovdiv will teach children how to weave using horizontal and vertical looms, paint eggs, make dolls and acquire skills in woodcarving and ceramic art. The craft workshop opens thanks to a joint project of the Regional Chamber of Crafts Plovdiv and Plovdiv Municipality. For the purpose, the state allocates EUR 50,000.
Children will attend craft workshops every Saturday in small groups and in compliance with the anti-epidemic measures. The workshop will continue until June. In July and August, the craft school will be available for adults, including tourists, BNT reported.
