Tervel Pulev to return to boxing ring with match in Tanzania in end-January

Bulgarian professional cruiserweight boxer Tervel Pulev has announced that he is returning to the ring with a match against the experienced boxer from Namibia Vikapita Meroro

The 10-round match will take place on January 29 in Tanzania. The 35-year-old Namibian has 29 wins and 9 losses in 38 matches as a professional boxer.

The 38-year-old Tervel, who is the brother of world-famous Bulgarian heavyweight boxer Kubrat Pulev, has 15 wins in 15 matches in the professional ring. 

Tervel Pulev's last official match was in December 2019 in Bulgaria's Plovdiv, where he won the Intercontinental title in the cruiserweight category of the World Boxing Association (WBA).
