Reiterating expectations of a new third wave of coronavirus, Bulgaria’s Chief Health Inspector Assoc. Prof. Angel Kunchev has told BNT that very often pandemics occur in two or three waves. This had been observed in bird and swine flu, as well as in Spanish flu.
Speaking about calls for the introduction of antigen tests for those arriving from abroad, Kunchev said that the PCR test was the golden standard.
