More than 940,000 euros have been raised by the Bulgarian Christmas initiative until February. This was reported at the meeting between Bulgaria's President Rumen Radev and the Expert Council of the charity initiative, which is held under the patronage of the Bulgarian head of state, BTA reported.

In 2020, the Bulgarian Christmas initiative helped 500 children for covering their treatment and rehabilitation costs and 15 hospitals for purchasing cutting-edge equipment,

The current edition of the Bulgarian Christmas campaign is dedicated to children with chronic diseases. There is no change in the rules for raising and distributing funds.
