The gas interconnector between Bulgaria and Greece must be ready in 2021, stressed Bulgaria’s Premier Boyko Borissov. Premier Borissov inspected the construction works of the interconnector and noted that the project was late. The diversification of gas supplies in Bulgaria and the entire region depends on this interconnector, Boyko Borissov went on to say.

“This is full diversification, because Greece, Bulgaria and the entire region benefit from the project”, Premier Borissov said and underlined that the Gas Interconnector Greece-Bulgaria was also a European priority.
