Bulgaria’s authorities to help unemployed Roma enter the labor market

160,000 young Bulgarians neither work nor study, this country’s Minister of Labor and Social Policy Denitsa Sacheva said at a forum aimed to promote employment among the Roma, organized by the Embassy of Switzerland in Bulgaria.

 “People with existing skills and competence will be given the opportunity to successfully enter the employment market. Roma mediators, who play a key role in the inclusion of people in the labor market, will receive higher wages”, added Minister Sacheva, quoted by Trud daily.
