President Radev and heads of security services discuss rights of Bulgarians abroad

Photo: BTA

At a meeting with the heads of security services, President Rumen Radev discussed timely steps for the adequate protection of the rights of Bulgarian citizens abroad who are subjected to attack over their national self-determination. The meeting was also attended by Vice President Iliana Yotova, the presidential press service has announced.

The meeting was occasioned by a letter received at the presidential institution from the Ivan Mihailov cultural centre in Bitola, as well as by complaints by our compatriots in the Republic of North Macedonia of more and more frequent breaches of their rights for the sole reason that they identify themselves as ethnic Bulgarians.
