“This is the last peak of the Covid-19 epidemic in Bulgaria and it is expected to last another 2-3 weeks,” Chief State Health Inspector Associate Professor Angel Kunchev commented for BNT.

In his words, the spring and summer will be a time when things will be looking up, as was the case in 2020. Referring to predictions made by researchers, Assoc. Prof. Kunchev added that Covid-19 will turn into a seasonal respiratory virus which will be nothing to be frightened of and which will not result in widespread fatalities.
