No stricter anti-coronavirus measures in Sofia are currently necessary

Despite the rise in the incidence of Covid-19 infections, introducing stricter anti-epidemic measures in Sofia is not necessary. This was what mayor of the capital city, Yordanka Fandakova said. Gyms and shopping malls remain open as checks for compliance with the current anti-epidemic measures continue. Kindergartens and nurseries remain open, BNR reporter Evelina Stoyanova informed.

According to an order by the head of the Sofia Regional Health Inspectorate, the number of beds for Covid-19 patients in all hospitals in Sofia will rise by 20% tomorrow.
