The Supreme Judicial Council opened and immediately stopped the procedure for electing a special prosecutor to investigate the chief prosecutor and his deputies, reporter Silvia Velikova informed. The reason for this decision is that the Constitutional Court is yet to rule on whether this new legal figure contradicted the Constitution.
