Bulgaria ranks first in the men’s final standings by nations at the European weightlifting championships which ended in Moscow yesterday, documents published by the organizers and the European Weightlifting Federation show, Sportal website reports.
With 685 points the Bulgarian team is way ahead of Armenia with 620, third comes Georgia with 612 points. The top 10 also features Russia, Belarus, Turkey, Spain, Poland, Ukraine, the Czech Republic. Bulgaria has not registered such success in the standings by nations for decades.
