Hoteliers call for targeted support for the industry

The Bulgarian Hotel and Restaurant Association has called on the 45th National Assembly to urgently form a tourism committee to provide targeted support to the hotel industry.

In its address, the association states that before the start of the summer tourist season there are no clear rules for organizing it in conditions of pandemic. The association urges parliamentary parties to take immediate action to save the hotel sector, as the state will lose billions of investments and entire regions will lose their business. Earlier today, in an interview with BNR, Chief State Health Inspector Angel Kunchev pointed out that quarantine should be lifted at the beginning of the summer tourist season.
