Orthodox Christians mark Good Friday today. Believers visit the Orthodox churches to attend a Good Friday service. This is the saddest day for Christians- the crucifixion of Jesus Christ, the Son of God. On Friday morning, all Christian temples serve a special liturgy and the Holy Shroud is exposed to laymen as a symbol of the divine presence on earth. Believers pass under the shroud all day long.
