The old town of Plovdiv awaits fans of the refined taste at the 7th consecutive festival "Wine and Gourmet", which will be held over the weekend. Winemakers and food producers will offer tasting of over 200 types of wines combined with gourmet products at affordable prices which will take place in the courtyards of the famous Plovdiv houses of the National Revival period.
The festival surprises with a record number of participants, say the organizers from the Plovdiv Tourism Council, the municipality, the Old Plovdiv Municipal Institute and the University of Food Technology.
The event will be accompanied by an interesting festival program.
