Albanian and Turkish military units pass through Bulgaria

More than 400 military officers with military equipment will be relocated on May 10 and 11 from Turkey and Albania to Romania, passing through Bulgaria. Together with troops from another 20 countries, they will take part in NATO's Steadfast Defender 2021 and Noble Jump 2021 exercises. 

The Turkish contingent will cross the Danube Bridge at Bulgaria's city of Ruse. The Albanian team will spend the night in Vidin, after which it will cross the Danube Bridge 2 at Vidin. The foreign units will be escorted by the Bulgarian Military Police.
On the night of May 10-11, a strategic airborne landing  will take place at Cheshnegirovo Airport near Plovdiv as part of the Swift Response 21 airborne exercise led by the US Army Command Europe and Africa Defender Europe 21.
