Swimmer Antani Ivanov sets national butterfly record

Bulgarian swimmer Antani Ivanov set a new national record in the 200m butterfly and qualified for the semifinals of the European Swimming Championships in Budapest. The Bulgarian achieved the second best time in the series - 1:54.72 minutes, which improved the previous top achievement - 1:55.55, which he achieved in the same pool in Budapest four years ago at the World Cup. Antani lost only to the world record holder in the discipline - Kristóf Milák from Hungary, who was the fastest with 1:54.38. The 200m butterfly semifinals take place tonight.
