Bulgaria and the United Kingdom to deepen bilateral relations

Bulgaria's caretaker Prime Minister Stefan Yanev has met with the British Ambassador in Sofia Rob Dixon. Both emphasized the need to deepen bilateral relations in a new way since the UK left the EU, including in the fields of foreign policy, defence, security and the economy. Special attention is paid to the possibilities for closer cooperation under the Three Seas Initiative.
In the course of the conversation, the topic of the European perspective of North Macedonia was also discussed. Yanev used the opportunity to state firmly and in detail the Bulgarian position on the issue defending before the partners the Bulgarian national interest.
