18,500 small and medium-sized enterprises supported by Bulgarian Development Bank

More than 2.863 billion euros have been provided to 18,500 small and medium-sized companies by the Bulgarian Development Bank for the past 11 years, the institution reported.

On average, the bank supports about 590 small and medium-sized companies annually, the institution says, specifying that over 1.3 billion euros billion euros has been granted to 6,500 SMEs in the form of loans or other financial support, reporter Marta Mladenova said.

More than 12,000 other companies have received loan guarantees worth over 1.5 billion euros.

BDB points out that it has been audited by large and independent companies.
