Pensions go up by 5% as of 1 July

The National Social Security Institute has decided to raise the pensions granted after 31 December last year by 5%, as of 1 July, 2021.

The social old-age pension will also be increased by 5% to 148 Leva (76 euro) per month.

The increase is at the proposal of the Minister of Labour and Social Policy Galab Donev. By law the formula envisaged an increase of 4.8%.
